Kaneisha & Saaghir are a team that loves old school romance, written letters, flowers, conversations about music & life and of course...picnics!

We've been living in Atlanta for 20+ years and between the two of us, we know every corner of this city! From the best views for the sunrise to the hidden gems that fully capture the sunset, best places to eat and best places to drink, everyone comes to us for advice on how to enjoy themselves.

With the state of the economy, we believe that the love of those experiences should not be lost. We may not be able to enjoy dine-in restaurant experiences but we've curated the entire experience for an amazing outdoor adventure to get individuals, couples, and friend groups reconnected to nature and each other.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Saaghir Mitchell and Kaneisha Montague.

Saaghir and Kaneisha, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
As an Atlanta team that has always worked in different ventures apart, Kaneisha working in T.V. and having her own business in dance and Saaghir working in the hospitality industry and working as an event coordinator, our work often times physically separated us. Ironically, losing some of our jobs because of Covid is what brought us back together. We finally had the time to focus on us and work together on a business/venture for once. Putting our heads together, we created Elevated Picnics. The business was born out of the idea of bringing people back together while still feeling safe.
